Friday-
The Goonies at the Belcourt on Friday night was great! Everyone was worried that is would be the worst due to the volume of people and the noise they might create during the movie. It actually ended up being the most quiet movie out of all of the late night movies they have had. There was a ton of people there though. I was glad we bought our tickets before we left. When we got there, the line wrapped around the building. Oh well, before the film began, they had a truffle shuffle contest. It was hilarious...
Saturday-
I went with my sister and soon to be brother in law Justin to look at a house they were thinking about buying. After the walkthrough we went back to the real estate agents office, sat down and worked out a offer for the house. There was a phone in the room playing music. The odd thing about that happened at the end when it was time to sign all of the papers for making an offer on the house. Justin and Lesley start reading over all of the papers before they sign it. This is a big deal to them and in the background I notice that the radio is playing the song "Just Breathe". I mentioned it to them and we all thought it was kinda funny due to the circumstances. After they read through all of the papers and started signing away, the radio then started playing "Celebration". Even more weird. After all of the papers were signed and they had gone over all of the details, the agent started telling Lesley and Justin how this is the great way for them to start off their marriage, they're really fortunate in life to be able to get a house, yada yada yada. When he was finished, Justin stepped out and as the three of us sat there the radio then started playing "A Moment Like This"(some people wait a life time). Lesley and I about lost it. It was like listening to a soundtrack or something.
Sunday-
The Emmys were on Sunday night. I normally might not watch them, but Conan was hosting and there wasn't anything else on. He was hilarious! The opening montage was really funny even though it was one of those "I have to get to my award show!" type deals. I was really happy that The Office won for best comedy, 24 won best drama, and Kiefer Sutherland won for best dramatic actor. Its kind of cool that the original BBC version of the office won best comedy a few years ago and now the remake has won. I don't think anyone thought the remake would be as good as the original but I'm glad everyone was wrong.
Keep in mind that in this clip with Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart, Colbert was nominated in a category with Hugh Jackman hosting the Tonys and Barry Manilow doing a PBS special. I think the category was something like, best individual performance on a variety/music show. It's kinda bad that I remember that.
Whoa!

The origin of the Oozinator.
Funny, but gross.
I have seen Star Wars fan films and I have seen Star Trek fan films, but this is awesome.... for a low budget fan film.
This could give you nightmares....
Pinata fun in a mall
EW interviews Borat
I really wasn't looking forward to Snakes on a Plane, but I must say it was a really fun movie to watch. Will it win an oscar? Not in a million years. But, it is one of the most fun things to watch with your friends, especially if you don't take it seriously. I kind of think that is why it works. Anyways,
here are the fan inspired shirts
for the film. I had no idea that this was one of the first movies in which the movie company, in this case New Line, had allowed anyone to basically create anything they wanted to promote the film without the risk of being sued for copyright infringement or getting a cease and desist letter. Very cool move on New Line's part.
It's been a while...

Friday night was awesome hanging out with everyone at Josh and Jesse's place and then going to see Breakin 2. (We need to find a new game thats not Scene It.) Breakin 2:Electric Boogaloo is a truly bad movie but at the same time one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. The main character, named Ozone, wears some of the worst outfits ever seen on film. As the film goes on, his outfits get worse and worse. By the end of the film, you should think hes gay or something. Before the film, they had some really cool breakdancers. Here are some clips from Todd. The breakdancing was very very cool.
And now for the news...
Two things. 1.
This statue
is kinda awkward. 2. One of the kids is tackling him.
It's sad when we get to the point when we need
these.
People are so lazy. Its not as lazy as this though:
hmm....a tad odd in every way.
I can't tell if
this is
fake like the Lebron Powerade commercial or not. If its real, which Im thinking it could be, its pretty darn impressive.
Great shirt...
Anyone else remember this?

Famous internet personalities get together for a good cause.
My favorite is Tron Guy.
Random facts about Jews according to Mel Gibson.
Now this is a bowling accident I never thought would happen.
He must have been using like an 2 lb. ball or something.
Guy has to launch his reserve chute after problems occur.
Watch all the way to the end.
Something new? A meat cake.
Matt Pease goes to his high school reunion... (people from work won't get the reference. sorry.)
These guys/band are great!

Two major items about the
Batman Begins sequel
have now been confirmed by Warner Bros. The title and the Joker. Personally, I love the title but I'm still not sure I like the choice of the Joker.
In other sequel news....
Whereas some people might feel weird watching Heath and Jake get it on in Brokeback Mountain, I think EVERYONE is going to feel
awkward when watching this movie.
Top 20 gayest video game characters.
This is pretty funny.
