Jenna Fischer is muy caliente!
Monday, February 26, 2007
I can't wait to see Will Ferrell's new movie, Blades of Glory, especially because Jenna Fischer is in it dressed like this...
Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theatres
Thursday, February 22, 2007
I am not a huge fan of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, but this poster is awesome! I will totally watch this movie because of the poster.
Billy Joel Concert
Wednesday night, I went with my friend Jody to see Billy Joel. He was amazing! I really wish he would do another studio album, but he's just not inspired or something to do so. I came home and downloaded "12 Gardens Live" from iTunes and it was like reliving the concert all over. I think the setlist was really really similar. 12 Gardens was recorded last year in NYC. Joel tied or broke(i don't remember) the all time consecutive sell out record at Madison Square Garden.
Here are some vids or shoud I say clips... A couple of the full length songs I recorded are too big for YouTube.
Weekend at Anna's
Wednesday, February 21, 2007
I seriously need to stop posting about Anna Nicole, but this stuff just gets more and more funny everyday. Check this out:
Weekend at Anna's
Heroes and Lost
Man, if you're not watching Heroes, you need to start downloading them from a bit torrent site or go to NBC.com an watch the episodes they have online. This past Monday's show was so great. It was a billion times better than any episode of Lost in recent memory(maybe Smallville too, thats hard for me to say). Lost is still great though... Speaking of Lost, it turns out that the producers of Lost and Heroes know each other(they worked on other shows together) and they keep putting little things in their shows to connect them. Until now, its been small things like an ad for a fictional rental car company. On Monday's episode though,
this scene
almost clearly depicts a reference to Lost. Personally, I think it's a reference. How freaking cool would it be, if the people on the island were actually people with powers like on Heroes, but they just don't know it yet?
I can't imagine what her daughter will say when she grows up and sees this...
Tuesday, February 20, 2007
This video was apparantly on Fox News last night. We all knew that Anna Nicole wasn't exactly all there but this makes her look 10 billion times worse. This is like one of the videos where the dad has the camcorder and is talking to his five year old kid. Other than that wierd fact, what else is going on here? She's pregnant and pushing a baby stroller with a fake baby, she has her face painted, and she's is obviously high on something(mushrooms possibly? They mention them in the video). I bet Howard K. Stern used some legal mumbo jumbo on her to frighten her and get her money. If she was this stupid then no telling. Stern probably liked to go sit in a dark room, tap his fingers together, and say, "Exxxcellent... everything is going to plan..." and then laugh sinisterly like Dr. Evil.
Ice-hole
Sunday, February 18, 2007
I hate ice. I have been waiting to see Girl Talk at the Mercy Lounge for weeks. I even worked a Saturday day and went through hell and spent 50 bucks on a new memory card for my camera. Then stupid ice had to go and cover the roads and cause problems for me so I couldnt go. Arrgghhh.... It had better be clear Wednesday night! I am not missing Billy Joel at the arena!
just a rant...
wow! (I tried so hard to think of a funny title for this post, but I just couldn't come up with one)

Some moviegoers in Torrington, Connecticut were watching Dreamgirls at their local theatre when about halfway through, this happened....
Boy, do I feel for the people that work at that theatre. I can just imagine how that phone call went to their bosses.
The Chipmunk Strategy
I don't know how I missed this on SNL. I have gotten really annoyed lately by SNL's politcal skits. They're not funny and I don't know why people laugh at them. This however is funny...

This is hilarious.
A site
breaks down every episode of The Office and shows how much trouble they could get into in real life.
I knew Jack said "Damn It!" a lot, but this puts it in a whole new perspective. This is just seasons 1-4.
New 3D posters
Monday, February 12, 2007
Check out the new 3D posters
this company
is developing. According to the original post on Aint It Cool, James Cameron has already bought into it. I guess the Terminator poster, would mean that its probably true. I can't wait to see more posters like these.
Opel in 08'
Sean is running for President! This is great. Someone I know is going to run for President because A. they can and B. why not?
I trust Sean more than anyone else in Washington, so maybe I will be voting for Opel in 08'!
From his myspace...
"This is my blog from last week that announces my candidacy for the office of President of the United States. Before immediately making up your mind about this, please read through it (if you haven't already). I would really like to make something of this, and if you are on my friends list I would especially like to know what you think. Also, please visit my campaign page at www.myspace.com/opelin08 for any future information on this subject (and your friend request for that page would be appreciated). Thanks, Sean...
A while back, a former co-worker gave me a book of weird things to do. I don't remember the name of it, but one of the things was to run for President of the United States of America. Being interested in politics (at least the idea of it if not the reality), this got me a bit curious. If I were so inclined, could I run for President? Well, it turns out the answer is yes, according to that fantastic piece of paper known as the Constitution:
Section 1 of Article 2 of the U.S. Constitution states that a President must:
* be a natural born citizen of the united States
* be at least 35 years old
* have lived in the U.S. for at least 14 years
Now it may shock some of you who are always giving me a hard time about my age that I am not 35 yet. However, the good news is that by the time the Presidential election will be held in November of 2008 I will have been 35 for almost two full months. This is probably now the point where you are asking yourself two questions? one - exactly how much has this idiot been drinking; two - why in the world would I even consider voting for him? Well, I have not been drinking tonight, and the way the job has been done by some men in the past (and present), I think I could do at least as good a job as some of them (and who knows, maybe better).
I will state for the record that I identify myself as a Republican. This does not automatically mean I will run as a Republican due to the fact that the state of partisan politics is part of the problem that set me on this course of action; it is still to be decided. Also, it does NOT mean that I blindly vote for the Republican candidate every time I get the chance. In the elections I have voted in, I have probably voted Democrat at least 25% of the time - if I happen to agree more with their views (including the current Governor of TN, Phil Bredesen - twice). I do my best to listen to all sides of an issue before making up my mind, and I can stand up and admit when I make a mistake. I am also as aware as anyone that my political experience is somewhat lacking (to say the least), but the way the political climate is in our country right now I feel that it may be to our advantage. Both the Republican and Democratic parties are so extreme right now and so bent on making sure that the other party does not get their way that our political process is slowly grinding to a halt. Both parties seem more and more intent on picking a candidate that supports the extreme views of their agenda. I know that I am not the only one who feels that whatever party they identify with is not fully representing their views. I think the fact that the last two presidential elections have been among the closest in history shows that the majority of the American people find themselves somewhere in between the increasingly-extreme views and opinions that each party seems to currently support.
Now I know this is getting extremely long-winded, so I'll try to wrap things up. My goal here is to let you know that I think someone needs to stand up for the moderate-thinking citizens that are getting more and more fed up with partisan politics. I am fully aware of my chances to become President, but if my pursuing this goal helps motivate some people to become more politically active then I will consider it a success. I can't think of anyone else (who is not already a career politician) off the top of my head who is dedicated/crazy enough to take on such a task, so I figure "why not me"? I've got just over a year before the primaries to prepare for the job and build my campaign, so consider this me formally throwing my hat in the ring. Let me know what you think..."Opel in '08" or "Has he completely lost his mind?" YOU DECIDE!
P.S. I'll need a running mate...any suggestions? (one catch - you must be at least as old as I am)

I would totally go to Justin Timberlake's concert if I knew he was going to perform this.
I did not know there were this many types of fros'
A bad movie and a good movie
Don't get me wrong, I am sad that Anna Nicole died. Sad as in I feel bad for her baby that has no clue what has been going on for the last 5-6 months. It would be the funniest thing in the world when the reporters ask the coroner what killed her, the coroner said, "Trimspa, baby!"
Just so that we can set the record straight, this is what the world lost....
On a brighter note, I loved Shawn of the Dead. I can't wait for their next movie, Hot Fuzz.
Random stuff and thoughts
Tuesday, February 06, 2007
This is cool... It is shot in the Battlestar Galactica camera style. I would like to see a better res version of it and some different versions, but nonetheless, it's still cool.
If you watch Heroes, did you notice the license plate number on Hiro's dad's car? Great little easter egg.
24 still owns. I can't understand how people don't like it. The scenes of Jack torturing his brother were so intense. I read this synopsis of Jack Bauer's life. I had never thought about it like this.
Jack Bauer's life: At a Glance.
1)Wife murdered
2)By former girlfriend
3)Heroin habit
4)Ordered to kill an innocent man. At point blank range.
5)Forced to fake death and lie to daughter
6)Best friends murdered
7)By brother.
8)Daughter wants nothing to do with him
9)Tortured by Chinese for two years
10)Tortured brother
11)Almost murdered by brother
12)Tortured brother again
13)Father kills brother
14)Father a horrible man
I wouldn't doubt it that more will be added to the list as the season goes on.
Come Closer
Monday, February 05, 2007
This is great! I am constantly amazed how people come up with stuff like this....
The Beatles' Come Together and NIN's Closer.
SNL and Super Bowl Commercials
These are some of the highlights from SNL last night. I really wish they had the Firestarter Sausages skit up. It was hilarious!
On another note, except for a couple of commercials, the commercials on the Super Bowl were horrible. I was especially mad that the Careerbuilder monkeys were missing. I hate you Careerbuilder.....
