A letter to Steve Jobs

Steve,

you and I need to talk, BIG TIME! Do you remember about TWO MONTHS ago when you're iPhone went on sale? You remember all the people that waited in line for it for HOURS AND HOURS? I, myself, went along with the hype and waited for 6-8 hours for you're phone. Why? Because I have fallen in love with Apple products and until today I have always had faith that Steve Jobs knew how to treat customers. Well Steve, today you proved me wrong. By lowering the price of the iPhone to $399 for the 8gb model, you sent a big FU to all of your loyal customers. Now I understand that at some point the price was going to be lowered. Thats not my main issue. My main issue is that you did it after only TWO FRICKEN MONTHS!!!!! Steve, I paid you an extra $200 bucks for what??? The honor of getting to have the iPhone two months before anyone else? Do you realize that you have just made all of us that waited outside and stood up to all of our friends and families for spending $600 on a phone, LOOK LIKE COMPLETE IDIOTS! Thanks Steve. I really appreciate it. Now all of your loyal fanbase that got an iPhone, will get to be teased and ridiculed by everyone. Steve, you and I have always seen eye to eye on everything since I became an Apple fan, but this dude is LOW. If you want to save face with any of us, you need to pony up and either pull a Microsoft(refund the difference cause you know you screwed up) or give $200 worth of goodies of something to those people who bought iPhones. Steve, I just don't know if I'm going to be able to trust you again. This is like one of those episode of Full House where DJ sneaked out of the house and the got caught by Danny, Joey, and Uncle Jesse. They'll still love her, but they won't be able to trust her until she proves herself to them. That's where we're at Steve. That's where we're at.
