My thoughts on Idol...

Its that time of year for me to start watching American Idol. I always tell people that I only watch from the final 12 on....
I'm just not a big fan of watching a bunch of people that I'll never see again on all the previous episodes. The final 12, in my opinion, are the ones that you probably hear from again in the future.
So tonight I tuned in to get my first impressions on who the final 12 are this year. I was sooo glad to hear that it was Lennon/McCartney night! I love the Beatles!!
There were definitely some good performances and some bad ones. If you didn't watch it, these are the 3 in my opinion that were awesome. I like it when people take risks on Idol, especially when they pay off. Two out of three of these people did that and it paid off. Chikezie and David's versions were great. Carly really didn't change her song up but she did an amazing job compared to some of the other girls. I love her Irish accent! But then again, I'm a sucker for women with accents. :)

p.s. I think its awesome that they're letting them use instruments this year.

I haven't seen a trailer for this yet, but these promo pics have me really excited to see this Wolverine movie, but I'm still a bit scared. The movie is officially called "X-Men Origins: Wolverine". I'm cautiously optimistic about this movie though. Brett Ratner made sure that X-3 was a giant turd as he does with all of his movies not called Rush Hour. Thank god, he's not directing this one. The guy directing this one won an Oscar for his film Tsotsi. You have to admit, Hugh Jackman looks badass in these pictures!
